Zoning board approves four business renewals and two variances

NY ROYALTON — Royalton Zoning Board approves four temporary conditional use permit renewals for auto repair (Mike Murphy), boutique sales (Elizabeth Copella), ice cream sales (Jeff Lasal), and metal fabrication (Joe Reiter). The board unanimously approved a Special Use Permit for Jesse Mroz to construct a pond with 100-foot setbacks from property lines and an Area Variance for Cory Kuczmanski to build a home on a lot 50 feet shallower than code requires. The board tabled Barbara Tuttle's application for a hobby dog kennel after Town Attorney Tom Seaman requested a refined site plan demonstrating compliance with the town's setback requirement.
