Royalton board authorizes truck purchase, schedules public hearings

NY ROYALTON — Royalton Town Board unanimously approved 17 resolutions at its March 9 meeting. Supervisor Jeffrey M. Brown and board members Lee Criswell, Bradley Rehwaldt, Joshua Walker, and Carol Wittcop authorized purchase of a 2026 Ford F150 truck for $81,714.24 from Van Bortel Ford.
The board scheduled April 13 public hearings on two proposed local laws: updating building code administration and amending senior citizen property tax exemptions. Daniel Haseley was appointed to the Board of Assessment Review for a term through September 2030. Highway truck driver David Class was hired pending civil service approval and clearance.
