Town Board Approves 2026 Budget, Personnel Appointments, and Fiscal Policies

NY ROYALTON — Royalton Town Board approves $1.48M highway budget and 2026 appointments. Supervisor Jeffrey M. Brown and board members Lee Criswell, Bradley Rehwaldt, Joshua Walker, and Carol Wittcop voted unanimously on 19 resolutions including authorization of $1,483,812 for highway repairs across 83.35 miles of town roads.
Tompkins Bank of Castile was designated town depository; Seaman Law, LLC retained for legal services and prosecution. Key appointments included Marie L. Little, MMC/RMC, as Town Clerk; Anthony Majka and Brian Cummings to the Board of Ethics; Aaron Noble as Code Enforcement Officer.
The board approved appropriations to five volunteer fire companies totaling $579,643.
