Town Board reviews infrastructure costs, Salt Shed Grant approved by state

NY ROYALTON — Royalton Town Board advances infrastructure projects, approves Salt Shed Grant match. The board discussed capital improvements including a state-approved Salt Shed Grant requiring 25 percent town funding through site preparation work, and Highway Superintendent Shawn Zglinicki requested a resolution to purchase a Bush Hog through NYS Sourcewell at $29,645.28. Water/Sewer Superintendent Brian Cummings reported 150 failed water meters requiring replacement and confirmed a new generator now in service.
The board also approved a website migration to CivicPlus Central at $4,606.38 and reviewed fire company membership changes.
